Help us sell 600 calendars to celebrate 6 years.

Not Putting on a Shirt was started in 2018 to advocate and educate women and the medical community on the option and benefits of choosing an aesthetic flat closure after mastectomy. Started by Kim Bowles after her own mastectomy experience saw her decision to stay flat after mastectomy either ignored, derided, or misunderstood, Kim saw an opportunity to fight against what can be termed ‘ intentional flat denial’.  Kim started Not Putting on a Shirt to push for women to not only be presented with the surgical option to remain flat after a mastectomy, but to also get results that look good and don’t add to the stress and struggle women who are undergoing a mastectomy are already experiencing.

Where will your calendar money go?

Not Putting on a Shirt has a ‘Flat Friendly’ surgeon's directory to help women around the globe find a surgeon who’ll listen and support their decision for a flat closure that looks good and leaves them with confidence in their new body.

The funds raised from the calendar will go to updating this directory to make it easier to use and accessible to more women looking for support.

This directory page is accessed by hundreds of women every month and is a valuable resource for people looking for a sympathetic, experienced surgeon to help them through a difficult time in their lives.
